Everytime I shop here I think it can't get any worse. But you never cease to amaze me! 

Half my shopping not delivered, not turning up, and no phone call because you say I haven't updated details (which I have like 7 times now). 

Your awful customer service centre never has a clue about what is going on and when they say they will call back no one ever does! Awful awful place.

“usless photography service”

Three times I have taken films into be prossessed at your hereford branch only to find my photographs blurred and dark with a milky tone. I had thought of throwing my proffecional camera away but decided to take another film to a camera dealer.. and what do you think happened... they all came out ok!!! Even a member of your staff addmited to me that he nore anyone else knows what they are doing. “HORRENDOUS and RUBBISH SUPERMARKET for online shopping”

I placed an order with Asda online in April and despite ticking no substitutions they sent me items in substitution. I sent those items back with the driver and to date I haven't been provided with the refund. I was informed that I will be provided with £30.00 worth of e-vouchers on this account and to date I have not seen these in my account. “Dishonest Delivery Man & Rubbish South African Call...”

Made the mistake of delivery of ordering a large grocery shop for the bank holiday. Order did not arrive at the time it was booked to arrive and was not redelivered even after 7 hours despite being assured that it would be redelivered by the driver who called and the call centre who I called 7 times. I ordered online groceries from ASDA site due to be delivered between 8-10 pm on 19th August. I got a call around 8 that delivery has been delayed and i should expect it around 10.10 /10.15 pm. I was OK with it. “One problem after another”

Today I received my shopping (£100 worth of) and there were 17 items missing!! Customer service could not have been more unhelpful!!! "We will request that it is re delivered to you but it won't be today" when I said this was not good enough she said the store would ring me back - still waiting!!! I have been trying to get my asda grocery line sought end out for two months , first when trying to check out the site would crash , I seem to have another account ghosting in the background , Some times there is an old order on there that is difficult to get rid of before I can shop. And the worst problem I only have three shopping slots on most days at the same time , even if I go forward a month . “Never buy anything from asda”

I purchased some items for my business by click and collect at asda george. The first few purchasers I had to call the customer services about 3 to 4 times on each occasion for a VAT invoice. This time I purchased again by click and collect for my business and the same problem and had to phone customer services 6 times and nothing was done. “worst online shopping ever!!!!never again”

Missing items for 2 days??? Delivered 3 of 12 missingitems at 9pm ??after 10x calling and speaking to rude staff??what the hell is going on!!i had to call 20 times to sort out that bloody problem with them!! Even store manager never done the order right!!i never complained in my life over phone but to be honest .paid 100pound and find out 12 missing items and they delievered me 3 in that night and next day 5.... so i had to call again to had my money refund !!!! I was in Asda at Beckton and happen to notice the cashiet being told off by his manager (I assumed) for puting more than two carrier bags for the customer he was serving. Aparently they just can put two at the time and give more as ia necessary. The cashier did put four because he was using is comon sense, the person he was serving did have enough shoping to fill at least four bags. We have used this 3 times now and all have been excellent. Choosing your two hour slot is great but then you also get an email letting you know they will be with you within the hour. Substitutes are always great if they do not have the size of an item you required they send you the next size up and the delivery guy always checked these with you beforehand. Please be aware that ASDA DIRECT are a South African Company. If you have a problem with your order you have no-one that you can contact in this country. South African Customer Services are sub standard and care not at all for the customer. They will promise to call you back and then not bother. I ordered 2 chairs only 1 arrived. I have now written off getting my money back. I even emailed the ASDA CEO ,HE COULD NOT BE BOTHERED TO REPLY EITHER… Read Full Review

If you are looking to use home shopping to make your life easier, do not use Asda Groceries. I have had nothing but problems (and have almost been reduced to frustrated tears!) with Asda as briefly listed below: 1. I consistently have to change my password as Asda does not recognise my details despite having completed 4 orders with them. 2. I ordered groceries to be delivered on 14/07/14 I was left a message they couldn't be delivered "system problem". I eventually got the order 2 days later but I was charged for the order I received and the one I didn't £258.18 now 10 days later Iam still awaiting a refund .I phone the only number who will deal with you their South African call centre who every day say they will refund but do nothing .The store who pick and pack the food have repeatedly confirmed I am due the refund but to no… Read Full Review

I can relate to this.

The customer services in South Africa are useless. They can not and do not do anything.
They say they have and say the correct things BUT they do nothing.
If you have missing items then call the store that delivers DO NOT RELY ON CUSTOMER SERVICES they say they have contacted the store BUT they do not.
Even when I contacted Leeds HQ they tell me that they can not do anything and that I need to contact customer services.

HQ in Leeds and High Wycombe People say that they HATE the customer services in SA. Why do ASDA keep them.....??? MONEY MONEY MONEY

They are cheap... I would prefer to pay more and get a excellent customer service than to have a very poor one. ASDA will have to do something as more people will move if they do not improve.

Am writing this with tears dropping on my cheeks. Am very very disappointed with asda I ordered clothing online after putting my details for payment to get my order number it says transmission error and I tried 3times the same transmission error so I stopped. Ordered a big shop from asda, WAS hoping to have a BBQ, after the driver had gone half of the most important shopping was missing. Call customer care straight away and was told that they re deliver next day but could not give me a time slot. Or they offered a full refund for goods which would take FIVE days for me to receive back into my account.
