    Good Points: Nice bags with labels to tell you what is for the fridge etc


    Bad Points: I have received LOTS of products which are about to expire. Not impressive before Xmas day.


    General comments: A very poor effort from Waitrose, Sainsburys identify all products they are forced to deliver with less than 3 days shelf life (often fresh baked bread etc) which gives you the chance to refuse it. I feel as though Waitrose has dumped me with lots of stuff they wouldn't sell in store and then seemed unhelpful to me when I contacted customer services. Very disappointing service.

    I tried for 2 weeks but on both occasions the problems were the same. I have gone back to Sainsburys because if they send short shelf life items they give you the opportunity to refuse them before everything is unloaded. I would add that the choice of shopping is quite limited, far less than on Sainsburys (the only other online grocer I have used) and it is more expensive because of this. I am quite sad about this because I love shopping in Waitrose but their nearest branch is too far away to us ...

    Waitrose is not a supermarket its a food shopping experience of the highest standard. Excellent customer service......impeccable standards of both quality of food and cleanliness of the stores. Productivity also extremely high.

    I have not yet bought from Waitrose/Ocado, but please read 'kentthoughts' review under Ocado.
    It seems that Waitrose and Ocado are connected and after 'kentthoughts' comments I am going to give them a whirl.
