    Good Points: It works surprisingly well. I have very low, tank-fed hot water pressure and relatively high mains cold water in the bathroom. I pessimistically didn't expect this to work as well as it does. It was also very easy to install. I have had it in use now for almost 2 years without any problems. It also copes well with fluctuations due to other taps being turned on in the house - minimum variation in temperature at the shower head.


    Bad Points: BUT ... although excellent in Spring, Summer and Autumn, it does not cope well with our very cold private cold water supply in Winter. It may do better with slightly warmer 'mains' water. I have to have the hot water heated to well above 60 degrees to get a warm (not hot) shower during the coldest Winter months.


    General comments: Overall, the CDX H2O Mixer shower is an innovative, and, considering how common a problem unequal water pressure is, a surprisingly rare solution to a common problem. For anyone with a more conventional (i.e. warmer!) cold water supply, I suspect the pros will well outweigh the cons, but I am afraid we are now looking for a better solution for our circumstances (probably an electric shower).
