Good Points: None.
Bad Points: Didn't work brand new!
General comments: I bought a new Gainsborough Ambassador Exposed Mixer, took it out of the box, fitted it and water went everywhere out of every orifice there was on the shower. I rang for assistance and they said I needed two parts to rectify the problems. Problems I again stress with a brand new shower switched on for the first time.
The engineer rang after 3 days, told me it would be 10 days before he could attend. 10 days came, nothing. So I rang the engineer. 'No, I meant the following Tuesday...'
(I work as a musician so dates and diaries are my life. I know which date he told me.)
Fuming like Superfly TNT I got the parts, fitted them and now I have a working shower. When the engineer visits next week, 21 days after my original call I'll answer the door and pretend that I've never heard of Gainsborough.
In addition to this, the customer 'care' at B&Q, Gainsborough and the engineer spoke to me in a belittling manner in my opinion, which only made things worse.
Oh and the product itself appears to be weak, plastic and feels like it will break when I touch it. I'm not looking forward to the next 12 months after what I've been reading above.
