Good Points: As a history of this spectacle it is very good.
Bad Points: Too many mentions of the gun teams, and having taken part in many tattoos over the years I appreciate how fit and how hard they train etc.
While it is always good to see Pipe Bands from other countries taking part in these events I feel that more should have been done to promote not only the British Army pipe bands but th fact both the RAF & RN have pipe bands.
General comments: I have taken part in two Royal Tournaments and as with all tattoo type events it was an excellent chance to catch up with the "gossip" from other branches of the services. Of course there was the usual "see you in Edinburgh/Berlin I have taken part in both a few times. or elsewhere in the next couple of weeks.
As a "Tattoo" it certainly was on a par with the likes of Edinburgh and Berlin.
