    The AMD Athlon LE-1600 is a nice price, does the job very well, i played many games on it including the ones that the processor was under age :)) i mean minimum system requirements proc 2.8 ghz or echiv. ore more, no problem i have 2,2 ghz 1mb cache run the game nice Dead Space, Nfs Undercover (hear cpu load at max), Fear @ demo and many others.

    Good price range, low power consumption, runs windows xp and vista with out lags etc.....

    Excellent performance per Watt when coupled with a 7600GS or 7600GT. Very cool running. Mine stays under 30 degreed C. Low price yet about 30% to 40% more powerful than a Sempron 3000+.

    AMD chips are superior to pentium in all areas, speed, everything. But make sure you keep them cool buy a decent cooler.
