Having played a long line of wrestling games since early N64 AKI wrestling, I had expected WWE Raw on the XBox platform to be much better. With the exception of a great game intro like all other XBox games, WWF Raw is nothing less than JUNK. Anchor developed a "new" engine for Raw which lacks every nice aspects the old AKI engine had for wrestling. The graphics and movement is not smooth and the characters (short of being boxy) looked aweful. For such a poorly designed game to come out... (read more)

when playing the game the graphics take over because they are superb the charachters look very realistic, but that is all the game has to offer the gameplay is not addictive as many other wrestling games and i think it is not worth the money. (read more)

I will start by basically saying do not waste your money on this rubbish.
Some people have rated this game as the thinking mans wrestling game where tactics come into it over button bashing. These people are either blind or have obviously never played the game before. Firstly, when you attempt to perform a certain wrestling move such as the suplex you will find your wrestler pulling off a body slam, then when you go to perform a body slam you will pull off a piledriver. If you are a huge wrestling fan or just some plain old nerd everone should buy the game, it should be in the top 10 games for XBox. (read more)
