Just had a 60`s weekend break with friends (to celebrate our 60th birthday) What a fabulous weekend. Staff - fantastic, food - fantastic, cleanliness of the chalets - fantastic. There was only one thing we moaned about, sat near the gents one evening and there was a bit of a smell. Would recomend this holiday to anyone. In fact when we came home my daughter was so impressed she has booked to bring her family on a Butlins holiday… Read Full Review

Stephils Butlin in Skegness is brilliant,, we stayed there for two nights and found that thats a very good option to stay and reasonably affordable as well. My kids enjoyed the most.. Would recommend this due to my money worth spending and good customer service. Next time I will go with all my family as they do have four bedroom caravans… Read Full Review

We have visited Butlins Skegness three times now and have loved it each time. The entertainment is brilliant for the kids and adults too. Plenty for them to do in the time you are staying there. Admittedly there are some areas that could do with some tlc and improvement ie new carpets in Centre Stage and the Pavillion and also Bobland. Also could do with new rides and games in the funfair and amusements. But above all the holiday park is great. Definately worth paying a little extra to stay in… Read Full Review

After reading some negative reviews of Butlins Skegness me, my wife and two kids (4+6) were really pleased with our silver apt it was clean and just yeah great, went friday-monday and the entertainment was fantastic for the kids, during the day the kids wanted to see certain shows and in between were entertained by music, stage shows, people, photo shoots with some of the characters and more we barely had time to eat as we were self catering and the kids were manic wanting to see everything, so… Read Full Review

I stayed at Butlins Skeg in April 2013 with my 9 and 12 year old children. On tight budget I booked the standard room only and was delighted to see that this included food. My friend paid for gold self catering and paid double what I did in the same week and she went self catering. There was no difference between our rooms decor or quality wise. Before I went friemds and family told me horror stories about the food court. How I would queue outside for hours for a table and once I had one… Read Full Review

OVERALL......DIRTY, FILTHY, RUNDOWN HOLIDAY PARK. SOME STAFF GAVE GOOD SERVICE. CHILDRENS ENTERTAINMENT MAGICAL FOR YOUNG ONES, BUT TOO REPETITIVE. ACCOMODATION IS AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE, THEY SHOULD PAY YOU TO STAY IN THESE FILTHY, STINKING APARTMENTS!!! Arrived late because we had near 500miles of driving to get there. Collected keys from guest service office. Drove to accomodation, (Silver)entered to most awful smell, carpets were sticky and stained. Furniture was broken, main bedroom door… Read Full Review

Room was dirty, curtains where burnt and singed around the bottom edges you would not have let your dog sleep on the sofa because of the state it was in, toilet leaking which they tried to fix on 3 occasions, when we left it was still leaking, when we asked to move they could not do this because there was 7 of us, which is understandable if they had then sorted these issues, but they made no attempt and the staff where completly unhelpful. We did write to them and they made an derisory offer… Read Full Review

We chose Skegness as it has direct access to the beach, however they lock the gate at 5-30, too early for us.We took four grandchildren all boys ages 10 -15 not many rides for them to go on, and the ones there were we had to pay £5 a time.We also had to book for activities such as climbing wall ect,all payable.Entertainment well it might of been ok if we could have found a seat in any of the venues, we were there for a week and never saw one show, we complained about seating and were told they… Read Full Review

Just returned from a Monday - Friday trip to Butlins with family.
We've been to Skegness several times before and thoroughly enjoyed it this time too.
Accommodation - Stayed in Gold. Not too bad although have probably had cleaner apartments.
Food - Dined in Coast. Lots of choice. Never disappointed.
Entertainment - Didn't bother with the queues for Reds or Centre stage but saw plenty of the Skyline.
Pool - Nice and warm.
Also, the site has been updated in a few places (gardens, changing… Read Full Review

Butlins Skegness versus Center Parks....
As a young family of four we fancied a change this year for our new year break, usually prefering Center Parks.
First impressions, four redcoats asking for a beep and a very pleasant man on gate, accomodation (Gold) as good as Center Parks executive (more modern infact) Free funfair, choice of venues, entertainment all day and night.
Only thing though is eating places, 1 pub that is ok, a pizza diner that is never open when you want it, a fish and… Read Full Review
