    My Tredex 3000e dvd player keeps locking itself under the parental lock and I never had a code does anyone know what the code is?

    I have a tredex 3000e DVD player and I wouuld not change for any on the market today.
    Very good picture and sound.

    I have had to buy 2 Tredex dvd players in the last 3 years because they are junk. The one I currently own, I have had it less than a year. Keep in mind I am single, have no kids, and I take care of my stuff. Now I have to go out and buy another player, and my purchase WILL NOT be another Tredex, PEROID.

    Because I couldn't get VCD's or SVCD's to play I sent an email to Tredex and they sent me the update file back straight away. Included with the file were the instructions which stated that because the update file is so small (1mb) the DVD reader won't find it unless a larger file (50mb)is also added to the CD when it is created.
    I did all of this and followed the other instructions exactly as they had stated and...BINGO, the player now plays all formats.

    Ordered from Auction World as it was advertised as "playing all formats".
    When it arrived I found it didn't play VCD's or SVCD's, does anyone know of a fix that won't burn the BIOS and therefore kill the machine?
