    Since getting back into competition shooting (Field Target)after a long absents i chose to get a Pro Target over all of the modern super guns that are out their at the moment.In the right hands it can hold it's own against them aswell,i find it to be very accurate with whatever quality pellet i put through it.I think that the Pro Target is one of the most underrated FT guns available,and the fact that you can't buy them new anymore makes them all the more desirable.The trigger is excellent and the balance is spot on,there is an accessory rail in the fore end so you can add things like weights or a by pod and even sling swivels to aid your standing shots.It's one of those rifles that people didn't realise how good it is until they stopped making it,capable of pellet on pellet right out to 60 yards.The only downside is the weight,but that only helps to keep it as dead as a dead thing when shooting it,and thats what target shooting is all about,the only the problem is you need a strong arm be it left or right for standing shots.If you want to get into FT or HFT and don't want to spend a small fortune then you should definitely be looking to invest in one,because they are accurate very reliable (with the mk3 reg) and dead easy to work on or get them serviced cheap.My Pro Target is about 10 years old but i won't be looking to replace it with anything newer.Highly recommended.

    I've owned many rifles and this is by far my favourite. Consistant accuracy out to 60 yards, wonderful to shoot and look at, why Air Arms ever stopped production of this rifle I'll never know. I use mine in HFT comps and as a hunting rig to huge success. Other rifles will come and go in my collection, but this will always stay. Since I bought one, six other people in the club have bought them too. Stop reading these reviews if your thinking about buying one and go get one :-)

    Will turn heads at the plinking range and at the ft events the only thing to let this gun down is the person on the trigger

    i would also recommend this to everyone. The Air Arms Pro Target MK is a great weapon and I have used it for many years. It is exactly how you would want a gun to be.

    This Air Arms Pro Target MK 3 rifle is great it is the best I have ever had. This rifle is so accurate I chucked a can up in the air and shot at it. It when through the bottom and out the other end. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to have accurate shooting.

    I really like the Air Arms Pro Target MK 3 rifle; I am currently looking for one for around £400. that is one of the best point of this rifle, the price. unrivalled accuracy for the price of a bag o' chips. the only downside is there hard to get hold of. btw if anyone is looking to sell one email smiffylfc@hotmail.com . Long live the pro target.

    I brought the tactical hunter vertion of this rifle about two years ago and since then have put a .177 barrel on it. I think this rifle is one of the best going. Capable of sub 0.5in groups at 50yards and with the right person kill zone groups at 60yards.

    Just bought one of these last year and won my first comp i entered with it to be honest it shoots like a dream and with the stock etc on it looks really good too, All i can say is i would highly recomend one of these to others out there, mine is the one with the muzzle break etc and i have had comments on how good it looks which helps
