    Good Points: simple and easy to use
    good signal in most places
    very reliable
    will take a beating
    clear screen
    well set out buttons


    Bad Points: big and heavy compared to newer alternatives
    nickel metal hydride battery
    showing it's age


    General comments: I've been using this phone for 2 years now and up untill now, I have had no problems with it (the battery recently wore out and instead of buying a new one, I decided to trade it in for a newer nikia 3330)
    The motorola d520 has always been a very reliable phone, even after the daily beatings it had to go through!!!
    In short, this phone is now showing its age quite badly what with all these new colour screens and cameras, but it was, for it's time, a very nice and easy to use phone and should be pretty cheap on e-bay or somthing.

    This is the worst phone anybody could buy, costing the same price as a Nokia 3210 and boasting a size 3 times bigger, which would you prefer? Maybe I'm being to harsh on the d520 as it is 3 years old.
