      Good Points: All very good. Entertaining, funny, thought provoking, disturbing, gory. Really liked the ball during the interval. Music was absolutely wonderful. Girls age 9 and 12 loved it. I loved Beauty and the Beast at the Lyric last year but this has surpassed it.


      Bad Points: Although the website does specify 7 and over and explains it is closer to the Grimm storyline, anyone expecting the fairy godmother and pumpkin carriage might be disappointed! Good from my point of view but very young kids might not understand it.


      General comments: I loved this rather dark take on Cinderella, original and memorable. The cast were wonderful and my kids age 9 and 12 loved the gory bits at the end (funny rather than horrifying). Definitely not the usual Xmas tat with washed up stars and tedious script. Really original and enjoyable. One the best shows I have ever seen, and definitely the best Xmas one by a mile. Made the Xmas trip a pleasure rather than the usual and expensive bore!
