    Good Points: The spin speed is good


    Bad Points: Very heavy
    Sometimes doesn't spin properly, and always gets clogged up
    Doesn't have a big load capacity


    General comments: I bought the Servis M3024 washing machine second-hand, and I was told it was a great little thing...

    ...How wrong they were! How many times I have had to re-spin clothes I do not know! And that is if it washes them properly at all!

    Got offered this Servis M3024 machine by our local church charity for free (it was about 2 years old) in December 2004. Gave my little sister our old Hotpoint for £20, who replaced the filter for £8. She is delighted, and she got the better deal!

    I have to stand by the machine waiting for the rinse cycle so I can pour the fabric conditioner in at the right moment! Have stripped the top of the machine and discovered that there appears to be a manufactured cutout in the waterpathway ...

    I had the Servis M3024 from new for approximately 2 yrs - problems from the start with drum pulley working loose & drivebelt regularly coming off. Now the drive-motor appears to have become mis-alighned. Solution is a mystery. Would not recommend this or any other Servis products.

    Had the machine over a year now - it frequently "twangs" as the motor attempts to move the drum and sometimes fails to reach a spin speed at all! Thought we were just overloading the drum as it has a small loading capacity (1/2 for synthetics) so didn't contact for service in fear of being charged for a no fault call-out, but I can see now from other reviews that a common fault exists in the motor board.

    Servis M3024 - Bad Machine even worse service (SERVIS). Purchased in January 2002. Broke down in March 2003 (would not spin at all) engineer came out, did not have the circuit board on the van, had to order it and the machine was finally repaired 4 weeks later, this was obviously done under warranty. Due to this I decided to get some additional insurance cover for the machine (good job really). Worked ok until September 13th 2004, when it developed the same fault.     Servis M3024 - I too bought one of these machines just over a year ago. It hasn't spun properly for weeks. I phoned the helpline and was told to check the filter? If that didn't work then it would cost £50 for a callout, before they have even looked at it! It is absolutely disgraceful and I will never buy another Servis product ever again!! If I too had known about the sensor, I would never have purchased this machine.

    Bought the Servis M3024 in Jan 2002 and it looks like I got lucky because I got 1 year of good use out of it before the trouble started. First the hot water pump broke, then the machine would not take the fabric conditioner for no apparent reason and still won't. Now I have the infamous "spin problem". Just to clarify, is everyone else's spin problem that the drum spins but nowhere near fast enough?

    We bought our Servis machine 2 years ago and have had 4 occurences of the infamous "will not spin" problem . Our machine failed again christmas eve 2003 , the earliest the engineer could come out was the 5th of Jan 2004. 2 weeks later ( waiting for parts ) i contacted customer care to find out they finally wrote the machine off and we await a cheque in the post . we will not buy Servis again

    Bought the Servis M3204 Washing Machine in February from Argos, and it broke down in October, 2003. A Servis enginer was called to repair the machine, he flooded the whole kitchen, ruining all the brand new kitchen units due to not connecting the pipes back correctly. The machine could not be repaired on that day because he had to order parts which he said should take between 7-10 working days for delivery. The parts have still not arrived so Servis said that they will replace the machine.

    Servis should remove this machine from the market,ive had my Servis M3024 for six months it rattles and shakes and leaks water,warranty help line is worse that useless, there are better machines out there for less money.
    i will never buy servis again..

    Bad machines, worse service, avoid at all costs!I have had this Servis machine for 6 months. It has been broken for 2 of these, and the "Servis Care" line really doesn't! It took 3 weeks just to get an engineer visit, and my part has still not arrived! Then I will have a wait to get the engineer to come round and mend it! *rant rant* :) Very poor customer service, making complaints has not helped, and I am looking at another 2 weeks before the machine is actually mended. Dont buy one!!

    I have had this machine since Jan 03 (3 months) it will not spin properly. Engineer and help line said Im not loading my washing correctly into the machine!! There is only one way to load washing and I have got 15 years experience of this. Then he said its the inbuilt sensor balancing on these machines. I have been trying to get a refund/exchange for 1 month now. Im not happy. PLEASE DO NOT BUY SERVIS M3024. HELPLINE ONLY OPEN MON FRI 8.30AM - 5PM.

    Have had 2 of these machines over the past 7 months, the first broke down completely after 4 months and had to be replaced, the 2nd I have had for 3 months and it has been repaired several times, now I am getting another machine that it is a different make! Both machines had the same problem, neither of them would spin, and the 2nd machine also gave off a burning smell whilst in use. I would not recommend one of these machines to my worst enemy!
