I used theidol.com for my life insurance when I moved home. The beat all the competition on price by a mile, the quotes are returned fast and the online apply facility I used through Aviva was very fast.

The customerservices team helped to chase my doctors for a doctors report to ensure my life insurance was underwritten as quickly as possible.

Overall a great experience and I would recommend to anyone. (read more)

I have tried this company. The service offered by The Idol is good, but the price for the same life insurance product elsewhere seems steep. (read more)

We try to keep our premiums as low as possible at all times, and we offer a service where we will try beat any quote, if you get a cheaper one elsewhere.

Nice easy to use site, nice quotation system, nice ability to apply online, but you can get cheaper quotes from the same providers as on the idol.com elsewhere on the net through discount life brokers. (read more)

theidol.com offer a range of personal finance products from stakeholder pensions to cycle insurance, but the discounted life insurance really stands out. Simply fill in the online form and it returns a range of discounted life insurance quotes from a number of different companies. The quote I recieved was cheaper than any others I found and I was able to download an application pack online. Very impressed with the site and the staff at theidol.com have been great. Well worth a look. (read more)
