Depeche Mode - One Night In Paris - Exciter Tour 2001 - This DVD goes a long way towards capturing the sheer brilliance of a Depeche Mode gig. Even though these guys have been around for over 20 years now, have been through pretty much everything from internal band strife to drugs to suicide attempts, they have always made deeply moving, interesting and relevant records. Based around the material from the Exciter album which translates brilliantly to the live setting, the band also included a few old favourites such as "Personal Jesus," "Black Celebration" and "Never Let Me Down Again."
The video is directed by the enigmatic Anton Corbijn, so you know it's going to be a visual treat and also contains commentary from the director and copies of all the video images shown on the projection screens during the gig.
