    This is the worst company i have ever come accross, i have never written a review about any other company and this company has ripped me off so much hat i have to share my experience and tell everyone to avoid.

    The mis sell contracts and promise good deals, dont get suckered in with their sales pitch.

    PLEASE, PLEASE if you ever get nfortunate enough to cross paths with Genesis Communications then just SAY NO, no matter how good the deal sounds.

    We went for a contract with genesis, this was after an initial meeting with a rep at a business to business meeting, he came to our offices to show us what they could do for us, they wanted a bond as we were a new company, we gave them a cheque and out rep then tried to cash it in! after that we did go ahead with them believing that they might be ok as they fired the rep, we were wrong, very wrong! wrong bills, never at our arranged £75pm despite always having mins to roll over?! bad serv ...

    Poor poor poor poor POOR!!!! After 11 years with the same phone number and no issues, Genesis Communications changed my mobile tariff without my consent to a premium rate. I only knew about it when a £350 direct debit came off my account for not only two other sims cards (which I asked for separately for the kids and nothing to do with my existing bill or number) and they had charged me connection fees for the sims plus a reconnection fee for my exisiting number...which was already connec ...

    In 2006 I was given a 'free' data card with my new Laptop. I could not get it to work and as it was free didnt bother to pursue it with the shop. The laptop was and still is fine so no problem with the shop. Genesis sent me a bill for £2.80, I phoned them and told them the data card did not work , I did not want their service. Two more bills arrived each for £2.80, I wrote and told them I did not want their service, I had never been able to use it!!

    Two years ago my husband thought he was getting a good deal as they offered him a 12 month contract and the promise that he would only have to pay for 9 months and have 3 months free. After the ninth month they continued to take payment from his account. They proceeded to take money from our account for the 3 months we were supposed to have had for free. They owe us this money which is still outstanding to this day.

    Approximately 6 years ago I bought a mobile phone-card for my laptop computer. The monthly line rental was £5.88. The call charges were expensive however before the widespread use of Wi-Fi it was a vital tool to maintain connection to the internet.

    As Wi-Fi became more widely available I used the phone-card less and less and ended up simply paying the monthly line rental.

    I have constantly had problems with Genesis I feel, in my opinion they have given me misguided information that leads me to constantly needing to communicate and negotiate, I would really prefer to get on with running my business and not Genesis.
    I would not recommend Genesis.

    I would never use Genesis again. We have now moved our mobiles elsewhere, apart from 2 that are still in contract. Big mistake. Genesis changed our tariff on these remaining two mobiles without our knowledge, and have refused to give us a credit until we settle our bill in full. Then they say they will look at it and may issue a credit, but they cannot gaurintee it.

    This year where we wish to discontinue our contract we cannot get hold of our account managers, they are refusing to acknowledge of 12 month contract is not 24 months and therefore are trying to make use stay. I have provided a copy of the contract in writing but they have not yet ackknowled it I feel, even hinted that we had changed it!     I moved to Genesis Communications with a business account of sixty+ mobiles. Our average monthly spend is £3K and I assumed I would of been taken seriously.
    In fact I thought they were awful, once the contract was signed all my contacts seemed to disappear and the setting up of the account was badly done. Bolt-ons were not added to the contract, contracts changed without us being notified and anything else simple to implement has gone wrong.

    I use Genesis Communications to supply my business with Hosted Exchange e-mail and SharePoint Hosting.
    The solution which I was sold has been excellent and the sales person that I spoke to has gone out of his way to help me with the set up.
    I'm not surprised to hear that Genesis are the fastest growing supplier of Hosted Services in Europe.
    I have experienced excellent service.
    HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

    I have never had such a poor time dealing with mobile phones as with Genesis. Bills wrong for over a year, airtime credit not applied and some rude staff who hardly ever return calls.One and only comment and recommendation: STAY WELL CLEAR OF THEM!

    Cannot put down on an open forumn my true thoughts but my experience of this company was bad.
    I was billed for 6 months of calls and line rentals even though I had ported my numbers elsewhere and written to them 6 times cancelling my contract at the end of my 12 month period! This then turned out to be 13 months as the small print says you can give a months notice ONLY after 12 months.

    Completely poor customer services, you have to give 1 months' notice to cancel/move at the end of the contract effectively adding 1 month to the contract, and when you want to leave they have the cheek to add termination/admin charges that you wouldn't pay by going direct with the network, they're just rubbish and quite pointless really!! If their customer service isn't enough to anger you, the billing, dispatch times, unfair contract clauses relating to early termination/porting definitely will ...

    I have been with Genesis for a year and my contract is due for renewal (I will be re-signing) and taking out more business.
    I have been with other providers and believe me Genesis offer better service to their customers that 2 of the 3 big networks that have outsourced call centres that cost you alot of money to call.

    Like your listed complainers - direct debit taken out for wrong charges and never repaid - wrongly billed airtime accounts and hardware account - non release of PAC's - never any response to e.mails - have not returned calls - when responding to letters never address the issue in question. We are taking them to court at the moment for non-release of PAC's and other complaints

    Genesis are great. They have provided me with everything they have promised. The sales rep still comes to visit if I ask him to. The customer service staff are great and ring me on a regular basis to ensure everything is fine. My account manager always calls me back if they are not available when I ring. I have a couple of mobiles with Genesis but they treat me like I have a hundred!! I would definately recommend to anyone who wants to save lots of money & be able to sit back & relax.... ...

    Their financial systems are seriously defective. I don't know how they can survive in business. Any normal company would have gone bust by now through sheer incompetence. Either they are being propped up or they are overcharging.

    Great service, have just renewed having tested the water for one year, now for a further two. Value for money, not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Excellent customer service, always answers the phone or rings back if i have a problem, i never have to be on hold, awesome!
