I love these shoes!. The ES Accel are the best shoes around. They look clean and crisp, dead smart and they really stand out from the crowd. I can do all sorts of tricks with them and i get loads of grip on my skateboard.
The wear and tear is starting to show on them now, but i have had then quite a while, great value for money skate shoes.

These are great. I got them in June and they've lasted skating pretty much everyday up till now, I've improved loads. The only niggle is that while the grip doesn't wear down its not as grippy as other shoes, which is annoying at first then after a couple of months when grippyer grips would have worn they still have the grip. These shoes are extremely durable and have great board feel and grip. I used to ollie about 1 foot and now I can ollie considerably higher. I used to not be able to kickflip and now I come close to doubles. (I still can't land them, but you can't have everything in life!) These ES Accel shoes are lasting me a long time, they only have a small rip and I've had them for over a month which is very good for me. The medium grip bottom takes a long time to wear out. They're easy to get used to and this shoe has the best board feel I've ever had, plus it takes impact very well! (read more)

I started skating with these ES Accel shoes two days after my friend, Nick, got his No Skools, which are made of some leather type deal and his are beginning to tear and mine aren't. We always skate these shoes they have the perfect combo of feel and cushion, they're awesome! The only thing Nick's shoes have on mine are grip. (read more)

When I first got the ES Accel they did not rip at all at the kflip area for about 3 months. They can a good price at around £40, probably the most cost effective shoe I know of, maybe apart from the Osiris Troma.
I like the simple look of the Accel, but now some of the colours they are bringing them out in are rancid.

The eS accel is really durable and no question the best shoe I've had. I got the eS accel rip. I'm a pretty heavy skater and it didn't rip till about 6 months after I bought it. VERY CHEAP! I got mine on sale at activemailorder for about $25 including shipping.
Its good with kickflips and tre flips and stuff.

The ES Accel is by far the most comfortable shoe I've had. Usually I have to walk in the shoes for weeks before I skate them or else my feet will hurt but the Accels were comfy from the start. The sole don't wear as fast as my Circas or DC's did, and the whole shoe are durable, except for the tounge, which got a hole quite fast due to my strange ollies. But that's because I have small feet so the whole shoe touches the grip when I ollie.
Over all the best shoe I've had, comfy, good looking,...

These are my favourite shoes ever. I bought a pair of the ES Accel plus and so far I love them. I've been skating in them a bit less than a month, and they have been awesome so far. I only have a few marks here and there, but no major rips. These are not only durable, but they are also extremely comfortable and are good for skating in. They give you a really good feel on the board. I would definitely say its worth the money. (read more)

I would have to say the ES Accel is the "ideal" skate shoe. The bottom soles are very grippy and they don't fade away or rip through, until a very very long period of time. The bottom sole is as strong as titanium. The design is smooth and clean. Great board feel. So comfortable that it'll feel like your walking on a cloud whenever you got these babies on. ES Accel are your perfect basic quality skate shoe. This is the kind of shoe that will keep you hooked up. They keep it real with just the basics. I don't see a need to change anything with them. Sure you'll go through laces but they sell like 12 packs of laces at the dollar store. Make sure you get the black for style and because its got the gum sole which in my opinion is the best thing to ever happen to skate shoes. (read more)

everything is perfect about the ES Accel shoe, but you need to buy them in suede because in leather they will rip fast. They lasted me 5 months before the sole ripped. The toe cap is super strong and it takes forever to break all the way through to the toe. I'm not a beginner too, I kill sneakers. A pair of DC Avatars lasted me a week, I do all kinds of kickflip tricks so i need the toecap to be strong, oh and they are the lightest sneakers I ever had. And the most comfortable (read more)

I've had one pair of ES Accels in grey/black leather. They last about a month and a half before they completely tear to the bottom of your feet, but it truly depends the strength of your grip tape, how much you skate, how good you are, your skating techniques, etc. But that's pretty much the estimate of how long they lasted me for. ES Accel - When I first started skating I would get Osiris or Globes and with in the 2nd week I would have to put shoe goo on them. When I got the Accels they lasted me for the whole summer and I skate for four hours each day. These shoes have a super durable rubber layer underneath the suede or leather and it lasts forever. I've had 3 pairs and one pair of the Accel plus and they are the greatest shoes ever. If you are a hardcore skater I would recommend these shoes. (read more)

I have the ES Accel. It has a strap and the supposed "system G2" heelpad. The strap does nothing except add a little extra style. Since it sticks out more than the rest of the shoe, it takes all the scraping from heelflip moves which isn't that big of deal except that you might have to shoe goo it when it starts falling apart. I've had my ES Accel for 2 months and they have done me well. I got the blue suede (leathers probably better) ones and although they are a bit scuffed there are no holes in the sole or upper (yet). I am not the kind of skater who does many flip tricks so I'm not sure how well they would fair with some one who is into flips. The sole is quite thin and drops more than 4 feet hurt a bit. The ES Accel shoes are up there in my top few shoes, ive had about 5/6 pairs. The brown/tan ones are the sweetest. When I was 14 I learned to kicflip in these shoes and expected them to fall apart as they were suede, but they didn't. I woundn't advise you to try any big gaps or stairs with these shoes because I got really bad heel bruisies (took me out of skating for a month) while wearing these shoes. Highly recommended... The ES Accel shoe's are the best shoe's i've ever had exept the jt204 but other than that these shoe's have AMAZING grip and the toe cap is perfect, not grippiy or anything and it forms to your foot. Best of all you get used to the shoe really quick like me I got used to it the moment I tried them on and plus they have a wicked cool look and they last a LONG time. (read more)
