We had many great holidays with this company and would have done so again next year had I not recently discovered that they ceased trading in April 2003.
Great pity, but perhaps the prices were a bit too keen

Motours offer no-frills campsite, apartment and hotel holidays, mostly in France, but also elsewhere in Europe. Their prices cannot be beaten! Last year, our 2 week holiday in a mobile home in the Vendee, including ferry crossings from Poole - St. Malo, cost less than £600! Other tour operators on the same site were charging double for the same holiday!
One point: After getting your initial invoice, you do not get a reminder for paying the balance. I don't know if this is common to...

Comment to marmotte it's no good saying the cheapest or anyone to beat them unless you give some more info on a like for like instances. I am about to book a mobile home holiday in France (Brem-Sur-Mer)from 17 May 2005, with Camping Life (French Life) for 2 Adults. Cost for 21 nights in a Mobile Home traveling P&O Portsmouth to Cherbourg with cabin, back via Le Harve with cabin £384.10 Total. If we went to Brittany the total cost would be £305.90 if you know of anyone cheaper please let me know. derekhudson@email.com.

This, surely, cannot be the completely incompetent and dishonest Motours who misbooked my hotel TWICE , then booked and charged for a weekend break after my enquiry for a Channel crossing. And refused to recredit the card. No wonder they went bang
