Good Points: Wesley snipes in leather, vampires, amazing stunts, just great

Bad Points: Disappointed in the death of the blood god- clever but just a bit weird

General comments: Blade - Blade's mother was bitten by a vampire when he was still in her womb, he was born on the night she ended her human life and he had undergone some changes in the womb, he was left with all vampiric stength but no weakness to garlic or sunlight but he had their thirst. Whistler found him on the streets trying to survive and almost killed him, but then tried to help him to fight the vampires, they set up a mutually benefitting life, helping each other kill the vampires- blade on a vengeance trip of who killed his mother, whistler after those who killed his family. They come across Deakin Frost (Stephen Dorff) who is a rebel vampire against the pure bloods, he wants to rule the humans and tries to re-enact the blood god- or la magra- a lengend amongst the vampires none of which really believe in it. The blood god will eradicate their vulnerability to sunlight and garlic etc and so they will be able to finally take over. A young woman bitten by Frost's right hand man, and saved by blade equips him with an anti-coagulent which has an explosive reaction to vampiric blood and so this is what finally ends Deakin's short lived reign as the blood god A must see as well as blade 2 (didn't like blade trinity as much)
