Good film.
The Ring story line is basicly a video tape is causing death to who ever watches it.
The plot to the story is good and the look on the "deads" faces really sticks with you.

Well it was very different and strange at first Because I thought that it was a suspense movie rather than horror. At the end of the movie, however I had a different point of view. Kids should not see it.- Read nadia212's review (40 words)

This movie terrified the pants off me, that young lass who had the life scared out of her near the start still haunts me now, what frightened me more than this was that my phone started ringing in sync with the movie, which wasn't good. I watched about an hour or so, then I had to get my brother to turn it off, I told him that we would just tell everyone that we watched the end. Hire this movie if you like being witless; leave it on the shelf if you want to go to sleep in the next week or so. Be ...- Read Anonymous101's review (195 words)

There are already several reviews of 'The Ring' on this site but when I glanced through, trying to decide if it was worth watching, none of them helped me at all. So for those stuck in this situation here's my thoughts...

This ring reaches out to touch Rachel (Niaomi Watts) when her teenage niece and several of her friends die mysterioulsy. As she tries to solve the mystery she too is pulle ...- Read Faded's review (507 words)

The Ring - I first saw this film when I was with a load of friends but it was in the early hours of the morning so I was half asleep and didn't even bother trying to figure out what the hell was going on, but I have watched it twice since then and I think I get the storyline now! It has really good suspense, especially when Rachel and Noel or whatever his name is are up in the barn and the TV knocks her down the well. After watching this film, I didn't like my TV too much! This film definitely s ...- Read candy pops's review (192 words)

The Ring - When I saw this film I wasn't expecting anything much, but I thought it was great! This is not a film to watch on your own because it will freak you out! It doesn't get scary till nearer the end but it keeps the suspense up all the way through the film. A great film.- Read candypops's review (64 words)

I watched The Ring (American) and then wacthed the Japanese version staright after and I don't know why people say that the Japanese one is better cause it's not. Okay, I'll give it to the japanese one that it is scarier but I like the storyline in the American version more. Everyone thinks I'm crazy saying that The Ring is one of my all time favourite movies but it is. It's a great mix of horror, suspence and damn right freakyness.- Read freakyfriend's review (81 words)
