      Good Points: The beginning of the best show on TV.

      General comments: Unlike later seasons, this is just 12 episodes long, but Joss Whedon manages to draw the viewer in to care not just about Buffy, but Giles, Willow, Zander, the fight against evil and even Cordelia. A great intro to Buffy but having watched Buffy until it ended, these early episodes seem dated. Especially the monsters and the outfits! However, the characters become more and more well rounded as the season goes on, there are some classic comedy moments and the early stages of Buffy and Angels doomed romance are worth the price alone.
