Good Points: Excellent network coverageGreat 3G networkExcellent customer service on the phoneGreat deals for customer who remain with themExcellent choice of great handsets

Bad Points: The only bad point is that (some) Orange Shops really let Orange down with an attitude more suiting to debt collection agents!

General comments: I have been with Orange on a contract for over 14years and have always found there service second to none, they offer a great product and really good incentives to remain with them, plus they give excellent deals to customers re contracting. I'm an Orange Premier customer and find that Orange Premier customer services will go the mile to help and sort any issues out.

I've been through hell, i had an 18 month contract with them and direct debit, being a student i thought this dd would be easier for me. Orange kept adding bits to my contract deal and charging me for them, they even took more money out of my account because of all the extra add ons that i didn't even use and to be honest wasn't even aware of. Id be surprised if orange even read half the comments on here and act upon it, its ironic how they claim calls are recorded when really customers ought to ...

I AGREE DON'T USE ORANGE!I find the whole company is down right rude! Being a big company they thought they'd get away with passing the buck through legal ...

Have had a pay monthly contract for about 4 months - the contract is in my name but the phone is my daughters who is 15. A couple of months ago she came to us to tell us that she didn't think her minutes were decreasing as they should. We phoned orange to be told that the automated service as of the time and date given was correct. We therefore told her that there wasn't a problem but to keep an eye on her minutes. Later in the month she came to us again as she was concerned that the automated b ...

I figured that most people only come on to this site to rant about companies that irritate them so I thought I'd do my bit to back Orange as I've been very happy with them for 4 years now. Their customer service team has always been very helpful and polite and they often reward me (obviously as I've spent £2k+ on bills now they would) but still...

I def won't be switching from Orange for the time being as I am very happy with them :)

I took a pay monthly connection from Orange with a 24 month contract. Just three months later, I realize that I have to suffer for 21 more months without any option.

I used to make most of the calls to call forwarding number starting with 078**. Orange took a decision to exclude all the call forwarding numbers out of free minutes from 15 Dec '07. I realized this only on 4 Jan '08 after seeing my bill. By that time it was too late as I made up an extra bill of £ 130.

    When I contacted ...

I am now tied into an 18 month contract and expect nothing but a long battle with them over charging me in my opinion. I have been overcharged due to their policy of connecting you first then allocating a billing date. This means you are charged for the period that the phone is being delivered and you could not use it! Why is billing date not the same as connection date? They also charged me for itemized billing and photo messaging, not requested by me and canceled as soon as I noticed they were ...

Where do I start, I felt pushed into a contract by a salesman who told me I could change my mind - which I did. Phoned Orange who said just take the phone back to the shop, month later received a bill for £16 (had the phone 4 days), queried this with Orange by email no response received then received letter from a debt collector, again asked why I wasn't told there would be a bill and asked for breakdown, then received a letter to say that I had ignored them, once again wrote and asked for ...

Avoid at all costs. This company do not value their customers.
I have been a loyal Orange Customer for 7 years and have come to despise the company with my last 12 months being hell. I have never been rewarded for being a loyal customer I still don't have any magic numbers as they are only available after you start a new contract, Orange Billing and Customer service should be under investigation, I have been refused access to a supervisor, been ignored, my complaints unregistered and hung up on ...

Leaving due to poor customer services. I have been an Orange customer since April 2005 on pay monthly tariffs ranging in price from £35 - 55 and with monthly bills averaging around £45-50 total with some peaking at £150. After two fairly unreliable handsets (Sanyo S750 and SPV m600), and problems correcting errors on some of my bills, I decided that I would like a Nokia N95 with another company. I spoke to a customer service rep (CRP) in disconnections who was very helpful and ...

From being with all the mobile networks, I have found Orange to be poor, but an offer over 2 years ago prompted me to return and I wish I never did! On the third bill I was charged £60 extra for a WAP charge which I had free for 6 months. They decided it was their fault and credited my account. If you need help, you're better off asking a guy in the pub, rather than asking Orange. Their once helpful telephone manner has been overridden with people with accents who just laugh amongst themse ...

I was with Orange for a year. Nothing was wrong. Just T-mob had a better offer. So I left, but I couldn't use my good offer as I had no signal! So I went back with Orange and I've been with them for about 2 or 3 years since.

    SIGNAL! :-D

I've just changed my plan. I'm not as much of a talker than I used to be, 120 min is all I need. and 1000 FREE texts (worth £100)! What more do I need?!

I think my good point and bad points sum Orange up for me.

In this era it should be possible for the Orange networks to analyse your usage and to change your tariff regularly to the least expensive. The first Network to offer this will have my business.

I've been with Orange for just over 18months on pay monthly (30 quid for 200 free minutes and 500 free texts). Checked my bill yesterday to find I'm being charged 70 quid; my "free" texts are no longer free! Phoned Orange and eventually was told by a very rude man that the free 500 texts was only on offer for the first 18 months and that this was in my terms and conditions.
Fair enough if this was me not reading the tiny small print, but I upgraded my phone 2months ago and the guy I spoke to t ...

I have been an Orange customer for about 5 years and have found the srvice to be excellent, if a little expensive. My wife is with O2 operated by Carphone warehouse. Which by comparison is a complete load of rubbish. Customer services closes at 7pm and over xmas didn't open until 10am. I am very happy with Orange and do not mind paying that little extra for the extra level of customer service they offer.

After 3 yrs of loyalty to Orange I am disgusted with the way I have been treated. I had an unexpectly large bill of over £300, and I politly asked if I was able to spread the payments over 2 months. YES was the reply.. I was told to cancel my DD and pay as much as I could by cheque at bill time. I paid about half. I asked at the time if this was going to cause a problem to my credit file and account status. None at all was the response. So I proceaded to pay the rest afer a couple more wee ...
