    Good Points: Has co-op where you try to rescue hostages and arrest bad guys, or multiplayer where you can play each other online, and as a team play Co-Op, or Team Deathmatch, or Deathmatch. Deathmatch is everyone for themselves. There are mods you can download which make weapons more fun, and cammos. Teamdeathmatch is what I play with my clan (group of friends) and we dominate. You can insert hostages and terrorists in any style of game, but in TDM we like to just play each other. Has pretty good graphics.


    Bad Points: The WON server Sierra uses is pretty lame in my opinion.. It is kinda laggy (slow response time.) And sometimes your game skips around making it hard to kill people and not as fun as it could be. Key word could be. They are coming out with Swat 4 Urban Justice, was supposed to be released in late 2001, then pushed back to March 2002, then pushed back again to June 16, 2002 (which is said to be unlikely to happen. No reason stated by Sierra developers.) I am angry they have pushed that game back so far to release, because the graphics are better according to the pictures I have seen. I'm disappointed with their work, not able to make the cut on time is not good, especially in America because we (as customers) are not patient people. We want things now damnit! Which is good for competition and to better ourselves. Damn Sierra!


    General comments: Still this game is very addicting. I have played it since my friend got me hooked when Sierra released Multiplayer function availabilities. That was in 1999. I still play the game today (March 2002.) It did have 5 players max, now it has 10! I will continue to play this game until Sierra's new game releases, called Swat 4 U.J. (Urban Justice.)

    Pretty dang fun and nice graphics for my outdated PC. Sierra's WON Server is laggy which I am disappointed in. Still I would recommend playin this game, it was 50 dollars when I got it, now people say it's less. Around $25-35 now. Great deal.

    Download the multiplayer Patch from Swat3.com. MODS are available at 10-david.com to add tons of weapons and cammos. I suggest downloading Chimera v1.0 (weapons and cammos included,) and Tier One Pack (few more weapons, including a great sniper rifle for sniper Deathmatch Games.)
