Good points At the end, she gets true love from Mark, after struggling to achieve something such as love and work. So, it is my first favourite scene. And the second scene i like in this movie is that she comes out from Daniel after getting to know he has an affair with an ameraican girl and he gets engaged with her. Bad Points She relys too much on men, mark and Daniel. General comments I haven't watched the other series except for this. But, After watching it, It makes me want to watch... (read more)

Bridget Jones's Diary - Although I loved the first movie, I really don't think the second does justice to the second book. There were simply too many scenes left out, most importantly my favorite scenes. How can you leave out Rebecca tossing herself off a bridge and making a total fool of herself in front of Mark, the man she is trying to win over, not Bridget for *hrist sake. Does anyone believe Rebecca is a good lesbian character--- no...

Anyway, I've read rumours of a third movie, which... (read more)

Bridget Jones is your average middle-aged singleton looking for the perfect man. At the moment she has two men in her life :
    a. Daniel Cleaver (Hugh Grant). He's gorgous, sexy and clever. Her 'dream man'. Everything shes looking for.
    b. Mark Darcy (Colin Firth). The man her mother desperatly trys to set her up with at New Year. Top lawyer, very boring and wears sweaters designed for old men.
Then, finally, she gets a date with Daniel. Everything goes great and they even go on a minibreak.... (read more)

Bridget Jones's Diary is a film that your girlfriend / wife can relate to! Bridget Jones is a single woman looking for mister right and failing badly.
She is wooed by Daniel (Hugh Grant) who turns out to be a cheat. Colin Firth plays Mr Mark Darcy who is slow to move but eventually gets her.

    Very watchable

I found this to be a very funny film and would recommend this film to anyone (particularly women who will relate to the storyline). A lot of the one-liners are very witty and relevant to thirty-something year old single females. GREAT!! DON'T MISS IT!!
