The Sims is a classic game, but beware it can easily eat up a whole day of your weekend. I found a copy of mine that I hadn't played for ages and ended up playing it most of Boxing Day!! You have to guide your character as they go about their day, making sure all of their needs are met. You can make friends, build up a lovey home and take on a variety of different career paths.

It's cool how you can control somebody's life and pick there job, after a while it gets a bit boring in my opinion. If you like this game then get the Sims for on pc Called the Movies. (read more)

The Sims PC game was the best simulation game out before The Sims 2 came out, but this game still has some zing! The game is just like real life. You can get a job, get married and have a family, but the thing that is bad about it is the people never age. You're always an adult, and your kids are always kids. If you would like your people to age then go and look at The Sims 2, but if you don't care then get this and The Sims 2, because both games are awesome! (read more)

I got The Sims as a birthday present for my sisters (so I could play on it really!) and I have to say that it very addictive and I would recomend it to all.
Heres a hint to play the game: press ctrl+Shift+c and type in the box that appeas: rosebud;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!l!;!;!;!;!;!;!;! and press and hold enter it will get you loads of money!!!
Don't worry if it comes up with "sorry no such cheat" just hold down enter.

Wow - I think the Sims is the best game in the world but I have heard it is supposed to be bad for you - is this true or not? The graphics are very good, it has it own language - simlish - and it attracts so many children to it! Overall a very good game with lots of my support! (read more)

People say that it is not worth the money but it is. I just got the update for it, it is called sims hot date it makes the game a lot, lot more good.

I know the solution, get a better computer. No offense or owt just my computer was pretty rubbish and it worked perfectly for me. An upgrade is needed.

It's probably you're video card. If your video card is an ATI, chances are that its not gonna work on your computer. you can try to see if it works on "OpenGL" by right-clickin on the shortcut and right clicking "properties"
then in:
"C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\Warcraft III.exe"
type -openGL at the end so it looks like this.
"C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\Warcraft III.exe" -opengl
If this doesn't work you're pretty much outta luck and are gonna have wait and see if Blizzard fixes this problem in their next patch.

You start up either creating a character and a whole family or by taking your pick at ones they have allready made for you then buy some land and then build a house for them. When the house is built you furnish the house with absolutly anything you want then you just find them happyness or perish their lives. (read more)

I have The Sims and think it's great too!! I already know the cheat but I think anyone who has the Sims and doesn't know it should definitely use it because it makes the game so much more fun!!
