Good Points: A classic look back in time. An insight into more innocent times. A great way to draw comparisons of teenage life between then and now! Excellent acting from all the cast.
Bad Points: Yet to discover any
General comments: A Taste Of Honey is an essential watch for any "child of the 60's" regardless of where you originate from (Manchester, London or any town of the time). It allows the older viewer to look back in time and have memories of thier childhood jogged into place, but also lets their younger counterparts have an insight into how life really was then but with a slight comedy edge! Dora Bryan plays out her part with a superb "see-saw" performance of love and hate for her daughter, a classic example of which is when she is arguing in the flat with Jo (Rita Tushingham) and Geoffry intervines to the retort from Ellen (Dora Bryan) "Oh shut up we enjoy it!" Classic!!
