Good Points: Very, very funny. Highly recommended.
Bad Points: None whatsoever.
General comments: I agree totally with the other reviews, this is a film which has stood the test of time, a simple tale of two musicians played by Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis who after witnessing a gangland slaying in 1920's Chicago try to hide from the mob by dressing as women and joining a travelling girl band with the super sexy Marilyn Monroe as the bands singer Sugar Kane. The film is hilarious and it's difficult to say who gives the best performance, Jack Lemmon is simply brilliant as the Dizzy Daphne and Tony Curtis is superb as the more restrained Josephine. Marilyn Monroe is sublime as Sugar and displays immense acting talent in the role. Other wonderful performances come from Joe E. Brown the aging millionaire who is pursuing Daphne and George Raft as the sinister mob leader Spats Colombo who is looking for the boys with a view to silencing them forever. A fantastic film you could watch with the kids, won't offend anyone yet somehow retains an adult theme too, highly enjoyable and arguably one of the best comedy films ever made - it will make you laugh out loud I promise.

With lack of funds they join an all girl band on it's way to Miami, which means dressing up as two women. On this journey they meet Sugar Kane (Marilyn) and use their new found status as women to get into her mind and woe her. This being a comedy all does not go to plan when ...
