Good Points: The memories of watching both Belle and sebastien and White horses to me is my very early memories of tv childhood! I would have been less than 6 when I watched both yet I remember them so well, the haunting voice of sebastien, "Belle Belle" or "Grandfather grandfather" and of course the signature tune still today haunt my memories, even more significant now my mother has passed!
General comments: This beloved French television series centres around the friendship between Sebastien, an 8-year-old boy living in an Alpine village, and Belle, a huge Pyrenees dog he finds running wild in the Alps. The boy and his dog spark the ire of the villagers, who are terrified of Belle because they don't understand her. Includes all 13 episodes from the first series, broadcast on the BBC in the late 1960s
Great to see this out on DVD etc Hope one day they bring out WHITE HORSES too!
