Just swapped my GSXR K3 600 for the K1 1000, great bike as the spare parts are all compatible, fitted with TRS Yoshi Titanium Can and Pyramid UnderTray, looks are amazing, performance incredible and sounds like it looks.
Great bike, Great Fun.

If you compare this bike with any other bike in its class you are splitting hairs unless you are a pro rider and at this point all sportsbikes have their pros and cons. The GSXR has a very reputable track record that speaks for itself. You can always look on the good ol world wide web to look up these stats. I am not taking anything away from any other bikes out there but this is pound for pound my favorite and I have been on a vast selection of bikes. I AM NOT A PRO RIDER THOUGH! It also fal ...- Read alancables's review (147 words)

Stable handling, smooth power, nice ergos. Fun Fun Fun!
Bikes don't seem to have come as far as I thought they have after riding a demo zx10r 2009 model. The zx10r 2009 is definitely a better bike than the k3 in all ways, except I still wouldn't upgrade to one just for that reason.
Suzuki GSXR 1000 is an awesome bike! Had it for 3 years (bought it mid 2006), and still loving it.- Read Guest's review (89 words)

Bought a Suzuki 1000K6, have worked in the bike trade for 7 years and ridden most bikes. My Hayabusa got written off, so I went back to sports bikes. I knew I always got off of K5/6s witha smile, so I bought one. Not a moments regret, very quick, light, nimble and very stable - it's even pretty comfortable, a little tight on leg room, but that's not what I bought it for
It's over-kill for the road with sticky tyres, but hell it's good !
You have to keep youself in check a bit and have fun in th ...- Read Guest's review (151 words)

GSXR been the best ride since 1990s. Today gsxrs 2009 are all the same size only dif is the ccs and the model gets better yr by yr. Gran Sport eXperimental Racing the best. In the 90s buddie of mine with a gixxer 600 cc boarded his out to 1100 and let me have a go at it for my first time and thats when i knew gixxer for me. Thanks Suzuki :P- Read CabanaBoy's review (86 words)

I picked myself up a K2 GSXR 1000 last week after some numpty's decided they like my bandit 600 so much they would keep it. Holy crap Im blown away by the looks, power, comfort, coolness etc of the GSXR. It was raining out the night I got it and I was a little nervous of the back sliding out in the wet, not at all, silly me. The bike was stuck to the road. I have ridden the K6 1000 aswell and personally I would prefare the K2. I just rather the lights and the few little bits and bobs done to mi ...- Read Guest's review (153 words)

Having ridden sports for in my collection for 30 years I was lucky enough to move to the Isle of Man where it is possible to use the performance of todays sports bikes. You notice on the TT course which bikes can cut it. I decided I was pushing my current ride too hard and a true sportster was needed, I tried all the top bikes in one day and for me the Suzuki GSXR 1000 was the tool. Forgiving plush ride yet totally unflapable and that engines punch is incredible. It will pull yards out of any b ...- Read BartleBFarstBlaster's review (239 words)

Its got loads of power when needed well plenty for the road anyway.
Can't find any bad points, apart from the horn not working after washing it one day and the f1 light coming on onc in a blue moon.
Nice bike all round goes well and handles well for its age.- Read steve050673's review (52 words)

This bike is a phenomenon! I had an 07 and let it go to get another K5 just for the track. The midrange is unbelievable. Just point and Shoot. I'm outta here!- Read Guest's review (60 words)

A very responsive yet nimble and easy ride with great and instant power. this beast can be tamed and is at home through the town as it is on the open road. within the space of a year i went from the 600 to the 750 to the 1000 and by far the best bike ive ridden.- Read gixxerphantom's review (73 words)

This bike is a total missile just point and hang on.
I have a k6 1000, for my angry blood thirsty adrenaline crazy days (still having them at 43yrs old. Guess I will never grow up. But for my normal cool Sunday squirt I have an Aprilia Tuono factory. Equally as crazy but tend to cruise at around 60 mph less. Than on the gixer. I get a fantastic buzz from both bikes, and love them both equally.
It ' s all down to my mood on the day to which bike I prefer to ride.- Read dek426's review (110 words)

The Suzuki GSXR is a very easy bike to ride fast and thats what its made for. It doesn't handle as sharp or as forgiving as a GSXR750 but its far less effort to go fast on. Ride it/Rev it like a 750 and you will fall in love with it. I wouldn't swap mine for anything else, but I haven't rode the 08 blade yet!- Read Bigbear2033's review (147 words)

Suzuki used to take technology from the 750 and then put it on the 1000. From 2003 they reversed that, the tech on the 2003 GSX-R 1000 is put on the 750 in 2004.
Easy to control on low speeds... but an absolute MONSTER when you decide to open up the throttle from any gear. When your in sixth gear it feels like you're in fourth, never have been higher then 5000 rpm (have it for two months) but it seems to be all I could use (legally) on the road.
I love the looks of my K3, "baby Busa" and it' ...- Read Guest's review (251 words)

Love the bike and its rapid response as I am only 5.6 its great I can actually touch the floor on it as well. I am not a technical girl I just know hat I like and thats the GSXR100 I loved my GSX600 then went to the ZX9R E2 and the GSXR is by the far the next step up I want to take and a great improvement on my last bike. The bike just feels great as soon as I got on it I felt as though I was part of the bike.- Read Guest's review (142 words)
