    Good Points: Bright, pleasant picture.
4 AV inputs. RGB, S-VHS input possible
Relative small enclosure (depth) for its screensize

Bad Points: Some small geometry errors.
    Slightly oversized picture.
Channel installation difficult due to bad manual
    Heavy weight (70 Kgs!)

General comments: I have had this Sony KV 29FX65 TV for 2 months now. I do NOT have the bad HV-regulation errors (changing screensize) but I do have some small geo-errors, visible primarily with grid and test pictures. The picture is slightly oversized: the BW blockrim of the standard testpicture is (just) not visible.
Using this set in a very sunlit room: still good contrast.
Sound is not too good but I'm using a larger HiFI set for that.
Three SCART connectors is handy: for DVD, Recorder, Satellite. 4th is for camera (side of set).
The dutch manual has some errors but is usable.
I am happy with the set.

I have bought this Sony TV 2 months ago in order to start building Home Theatre.
Soon after purchase I realised that the picture is "pumping" for up to 5 mm during change of scene brightness.
It is specially visible when movie titles appear on dark background.
Up to now, my Sony TV set has been twice at the repair shop and there is no change, except geometry is slightly
improved. I have got a reply that this is "normal" for this screen size.
If I had known this earlier, I would never have ...

I acquired this equipment a few weeks ago but had to return it due to a problem with fading. I then had to return it again due to a convergence fault on several parts of the screen and sound defects.
    Quality SONY. Where?
