      I like the scenery - story - setting and i liked the bit where the otter went home with the man but I didn't like where the otter gets caugh in a net and also when he dies. A good film but sad.

      Ring Of Bright Water - Did we all see the same movie? The otter gets sliced by a hoe!! Are you kidding me?! This was a lousy movie! And yes, I ruined the ending because it's a cruel thing to do to a child to have him/her sit through this endearing flick only to be left aghast by its brutal ending. How a generation of children weren't pemanently damaged by this flick is beyond me. Oh, wait, it was 1969! Uh, yeah, damage.
