Good Points: A brilliant, heartwarming ending. Realistic with Swedish life in the 1970's.
Bad Points: Some people may have an issue with the subtitles, but it's good nonetheless.
General comments: Together is an absolutely brilliant film about a group of Swedish people living in a communal house. Their apparent main aim is to promote communism, but in actual fact they are far from it. When a wife who has been beaten up by her husband arrives at the house with her two children, the atmosphere in the house starts to change.
Somehow the writer of the film succeeds in making you feel sympathy towards the husband who has hit his wife. It shows his plight to give up alcohol and get his children back.
The film also deals with many other social issues, and is well worth watching, even though there are only English subtitles.
