Good Points: river theme, good love story, lovely mandakini

Bad Points: same repeat story. but you can watch this love story and avoid other poor girl rich boy stories

General comments: i like the theme also the love story. the ganga is a sacred river of india. we love this river very much. but on the other hand people are polluting this great river. so we must learn from Ram Teri Ganga Maili to avoid polluting this great river. love story theme is also very good. mandakini look very innocent. people talked that her acting wasnnt good. but remember she was only 16 or 17 years old at that time. so you cant expect her to be a meena kumari or somewhat else. songs were super duper.

I really looked forward to buying Ram Teri Ganga Maili since I had heard a lot about it, the general story is about a boy called Rajeev who is fed up with his father's carupt political schemes. He decides to run away, he meets a girl (Ganga) with whom he falls in love and marries. Rajeev returns home, promising to come back for Ganga, but is unable to keep his promise, leaving her to find her own way, the story follows Ganga's journey to Narendra.
