Good Points: I just purchased the daytek 17" flat panel monitor. So far it's been great. The screen is very clear, and the viewing area is large. There is a 3 year warranty, so hopefully things will go well. It takes up next to no space at all.
Bad Points: It was fairly expensive although cheaper than the other lcd screens. Cost around 800$ Canadian with taxes included.
General comments: I would recommend it so far, as it's great looking monitor and working well. It's taking up little to no space, and the colors are really bright. It looks best in 1024 X 768 resolution although it can handle higher. It was cheaper than all the other lcd's but carried the same warranty and even offered 450:1 proportion of contrast which was higher than all the other lcd screens at Costco. Lets keep our fingers crossed that nothing goes wrong.
