Good Points: A classic story.
Bad Points: None.
General comments: Yojimbo the Bodyguard has been remade as a western with Clint Eastwood, and as a gangster movie with Bruce Willis. Both of these are good films in their own rights, but this is the best version of them all. If you like samurai films, this is the grandaddy of them all for me. The main actor is possibly the best Japanese film star of all time. Toshiro Mifune plays the part so well it was made for him. He pretends to hate the normal weak people in the village, but can't resist helping them. All I can say is sit back and enjoy this fantastic movie. A true classic!
