      General comments: Life Is Beautiful (La Vita bella) has to be one of my all time favourite movies. Written, directed and starring one of Italy's finest, Roberto Benigni. This is a movie about overcoming the odds. A fantastic insight into the human spirit fighting against adversity. It is about the greatest act of love and self-sacrifice from a father and husband facing the horrors of the Nazi concentration camps. This movie is one that will remain in your heart, and open your eyes to the true nature of humanity. Make sure you have a stack of tissues by your side when you watch this.
