Good Points: The graphics and special effects of the time. These films really were a leader in sci-fi for it's time.
Bad Points: Some of the action scenes will seem very dated for younger viewers - I think it's important to look past this issue and you'll thoroughly enjoy the film.
General comments: Based on H.G. Wells chilling book, The War Of The Worlds, When Worlds Collide, begins on Earths invasion when it is incredibly bleak - recently remade with Tom Cruise in the lead role. 'When Worlds Collide' tells the story of a runaway star headed straight for earth - some will escape to another planet, but only if they complete a spaceship in time. I was able to pick this DVD double for a bargain £19 from www.filmsgamesmusic.com.
