Sharpe's Battle / Sharpe's Sword - This is one of the best tellings of a book on film that I have seen. Richard Sharpe (Sean Bean) is a soldier in the Napoleonic Wars. Although the sheer scale of the books couldn't be put on screen with the programme's budget, it's still a good programme. (read more)
