    I Can put this movie on in the background and listen to every great word spoken and amazing soundtrack. A gem of a movie that really does translate from book to film, love James Elroy and this is by far the best adaptation out there, sadly black dalia was not so lucky, recommend to anyone… Read Full Review

    This is one of my all-time favourite movies. Based on a James Elroy book, screen played excellently with some impressive acting and filmwork! Here's a plot summary. Based in Los Angeles we have a pastiche of mafia, violence, police corruption, corruption and sleaze in 50'5 Hollywood. Danny Devito does voice overs and tells the story of the protagonists exploits in retrospect. It's an amusing telling with great repetitions in the tales... "And everything's really hush hush..."
