Good Points: The best Western ever made!!
Bad Points: None whatsoever.
General comments: Once Upon A Time in The West is another of Sergio Leone's Epic western movies. Part of a trilogy based on periods in American history; the other two movies in the trilogy being A Fistful of Dynamite and Once Upon A Time In America. Clint Eastwood didn't star in this movie, but Charles Bronson (Harmonica) more than rises to the challenge. Equally, Henry Fonda's role as the villain is genius, and his part in the movie is probably one of the most memorable.
This is the story of a womans fight against a railroad company, who want to take over her land. Her husband is murdered, and her life and her land come under threat, until Harmonica (Charles Bronson) steps in and protects her from a ruthless villain working for the railroad.
A masterpiece in cinematogrophy, as well as the soundtrack (Ennio Morricone), with brilliant actors and a tense storyline!
A timeless classic! The widescreen version is strongly recommended.
