Good Points: The actors were awesome!!!!
Bad Points: Set in 1899, about 3 years before they had cars, and there's a car in it and the subamrine that the pirate has, before they had submarines, or even boats like the Titanic, which is kind of what his sub is like.
General comments: The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen - WOW!!!!! That's all I have to say, but to make it more detailed for you people who haven't seen it:
Sean Connery plays an awesome role alongside the other extraordinary beings: the Vampire, Dr Jekyl/Mr. Hyde, an immortal, an invisible man, an American soldier, and the pirate. (Sorry I can't give you all of their names right now just because I don't have the movie right in front of me to see them).
You see, the people in this movie have extraordinary powers, and they form a league to stop the bad guy. I can't really tell you any more without ruining the movie, but I'd strongly recommend, if you haven't seen it already, to get your booty butt off the computer, drive down to Blockbuster, and get yourself this movie!!!! And don't try to get out of it if they don't have it cause if they don't have it in stock, then they'll save it for you and call you when it gets back, and guess what?! it's FREE!!!!!!!

The story is too far fetched with a weak story and poor acting. The special effects are eyecatching but do not compensate for the predictable and implausable setting & story.
