This is a brilliant film.
It is an action/espionage movie.
Matt Damon is excellent as Jason Bourne (ex CIA assassin with lost memory).
Interesting plot which doesn't leave you asking questions all the way through (i.e. no holes in plot).
The whole story is well rounded and you are left very satisfied at the end.
Fantastic fight scenes and car chases.
Brilliant cast of actors with no weak links.
Overall, I couldn't recommend this film more and it leaves you wanting to see more i.e. the sequel The Bourne Supremacy.

Ever had a fight were you did not lose your breath and have adrenaline running out of control? No? Well then, you are not the US military's latest secret weapon, so if you forget who you are, don't worry. You will not be a killing machine that has malfunctioned and needs to be terminated with the utmost cruelty and prejudice.
Matt Damon is such a man, but wait a moment, do not run for the hills, or a bunker. It is only on the TV this man lives, so you can sympathise with the plight he is in. ...- Read jonathan kelly's review (898 words and 1 comment)

I'm not generally one for the big Hollywood blockbuster action films, but The Bourne Identity was a very intelligent and well-made film.
Matt Damon is Jason Bourne. He wakes up on a fishing boat after being fished out of the ocean by sailors and he can't remember his name or anything about himself. In fact, all he knows is that he was shot twice in the back and he has a small metal tube with details of a Swiss bank account implanted in his hip. So he goes in search of his identity. The Bourne Identity - This is one of the best movies I've seen for a while! I loved the action even though it got too fast at times. The lines are witty and quick, so you have to be quick to be able to follow it!- Read kutiebear's review (61 words)

How am I the first person to review the Bourne Identity? It's an outstanding film. The basic plot is Matt Damon wakes up not able to remember anything yet he knows loads of concerning stuff like how to do martial arts or the best places to find a gun. I won't ruin the story but it's pretty cool, and if you haven't seen it, what have you been doing??!!- Read Bubabaah's review (69 words and 1 comment)
