Good Points: The greatest war documentary ever made.
Bad Points: Atrocious menu system - but this is still unable to stop this collection being a ten out of ten.
General comments: The World At War - Special Collectors Edition is a masterpiece in every way. This special collectors edition runs for an epic 32 hours covering every aspect of world war 2 from the reasons for the war to the way the world changed after it.
Each episode contains eyewitness testimony from people from both sides relating to every aspect of the war. Every episode is brilliantly narrated by Sir Laurence Olivier and this is the complete set that you need if you want to know about WWII.
In my opinion the only problem with this DVD collection is the menu system which, to be frank, is just plain rubbish but even this can not detract from the brilliance of this collection.
