DC Avatar - Midnight Blue are very good shoes. All i've been skating for the last 6 months, as well as the avatar 2's. the latter are stronger but stiffer and have a lower ankle. I recommend either.

Well I gotta say that these shoes are good. The super grippy sole can grip those ollies and bring them up. But then a con of the grippy sole is that it wears like super fast, because the outer edges of the sole is almost worn out. The straps provide good support but then I was afraid to strap it up because I didnt want the tounge to become flat lol. Another bad thing about the shoes is the double stitched toe cap. I ripped the stitching in the kickflip and ollie areas and so the leather would flap up so I had to shoe goo it up. Other than that, the shoe is great. Get a pair for yourself, like the hard to find light blue and charcoal ones I have. haha

I have the black and white avatars these are by far my favorite skate shoes...after wearing them in you will notice more height in your flip tricks, they grip very well and look really nice just to chill in as well.

I got these DC Avatar - Midnight Blue shoes about 2 months ago. I wore them as walk shoes for a week to wear in the sole and soften it up a bit. After that, I skated them and they took about 2 skate sessions to get used to them, after that, I was able to do all of my tricks from before and more. Sticks to ones feet well for ollies and it increased my kickflip heigth, because of the grip of full grain leather!

this shoe is ok, u have to really get used to it, but it tends to be a little heavy. and for some reason i cant get any height with my tricks wearing them. They just feel so heavy after skating a light pair of shoe like the accels.
