'Breathe' by Blu Cantrell is a great summer song, as it includes a mix of Reggae and R&B, this levels out the song, as the strong and recognisable voice of Sean Paul is broken up by a soft but meaningful chorus performed by Blu Cantrel! Although the single has been out for a while, it seems people never seem to tire of it. 'Breathe is one of those songs that will remind everyone of great summer memories. I know it does me, and I think this helps keep the song popular year after year. Another good thing is that after the song came out in the summer, it wasn't overplayed on the Radio or on music channels etc... during the next year. It then started being replayed the following summer. This way no one was bored or fed up with the song, and therefore it became popular again. I would without a doubt recommend this song to anyone who enjoys that true summer feeling of having fun in the sun, because that is the feeling you get from listening to this single, and I say if you haven't bought it yet, then you definitely should!
