“I have only heard how good these cards are....”

★★★☆☆

written by Slater. on 24/02/2003

I have only heard how good these cards are. Unfortunately I cannot comment on it's performance as it would not run on this motherboard. It ran fine on an MSI KT4 with a Celeron CPU- just not the Epox.

Something to watch for if you are shopping for a new card.

I don't think I can do a review on this graphics card as I have had problems with it. First of all I do not own a shy machine, infact everything is brand new. I have;
MAINBOARD: GA-8PE667 ( Intel 845PE chipset )
CPU: Intel P4 2.4 Ghz
RAM: 1Gig DDR333 ( exlir )
VIDEO CARD: Winfast A280LE TDH MyViVo ( Nvidia GeForce 4 TI 4200 chipset )
I am having problems with games, such as - No One Lives Forever 2. What happens is everytime I go to play the game, the graphics break up during 3D usage. I can not play the games as it keeps clicking in and out of 3D. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I also have a problem with this card, I have a 128Mb version of it and am running an AMD 2000+ with a 550W power supply. I find that the card is fine until I play a game-C&C generals and Elite force. I would love to actually be able to play these things !! lol I have tried bios upgrades to both the motherboard and card.updated drivers installed fans. even sent the thing back only to be told that there was no problem with it...
