Good Points: Was quick loading.
Bad Points: Now not working.
General comments: After just over 2 years my Philips DVD-701 has stopped working - it refuses to read any disc put into it.
The problem started with pictures freezing and now the whole thing is just a silver door-stop.

After two years of use, I am now getting "disc errors" and the Philips DVD 701 DVD Player hangs. It is then unable to show a disc. It is extremely irritating. It seems that the machine is overhot, There are also problems with the open/close display. When it works is really good - responsive and quick - but I almost threw it out of the window. This Philips DVD 701 is awsome. Its multi region its got all the features u can get it plays superbley it looks kool to i manged to get a brand new 1 for a very good price this dvd player deserves 10/10- Read jamie's review (47 words)
