    Good Points: Excellent Price, Ease of use.


    Bad Points: Service and quality nonexistent.


    General comments: Definitely do not buy this Daewoo DSC-34W70N TV set. It has the capability to be a great Television, but the quality is horrible and the service is worse. I ordereed this set thinking that such a well known worldwide brand must be OK. After ordering I came across a few online reviews for this HDTV monitor saying that it had either quit or had green discolorations on the edges of the screen within days or at most a month after purchase. All reviews said that the service department did not answer phone or e-mails. However I was confident that since the reviews were months old, that the company had addressed these issues.
    I received my set 4 days ago (2-17-03). Within 2 days it has green discolorations on the right edge of the screen and in whole the color seems off no matter what video source I use. The service department does NOT answer their phone (answering machine) and does NOT return messages. They also do NOT respond to any e-mails. All in all a very bad situation, I want my set fixed, but they obviously must know they have a problem and just don't care.
