The one and only great Slim Whitman My first record "Rose Marie" 1954 - bought after broke down 1957 (78-rpm) - about my 7th. A 2-cd box "Rose Marie", 6-cd box "Rose Marie". More than 25 cd, set of 2 3, of 3 1, set of 6 2 examples; 33-rpm lps including 2/4&6-lp box over 65;45-rpm 4 including "I'll walk with God" EP; 78-rpm 7 including "Rose Marie" (3), MC 4, Video VCR 2000, VHS, DVD each 1.
Visited concerts of Slim Whitman and his son Byron, March 1990, Whitsun 1993, farewell tour 3rd October 2002 in England with about 74 other members of Slim Whitman Appreciation Society of Holland. Find and buy sometimes at record shop, free market, flea market, whole sale shop,recycle shops items of Slim Whitman.
A real Whitmania.

Best Country Singer that ever lived. His music is clean and certainly memorable.

He has the best tenor/falsetta voice I have ever heard and his range is incredible. I have a lot of Slim's cds amd am working on getting all of them. It doesn't bother me very much that there is some repitition as I like backup.

It is a shame that he was a bigger hit in foreign countries than in his own. He is exceptional.

I have been a fan of Slim Whitmans for over 50 years, and have a recording of every song that Slim has sung. Plus several DVDs and love watching them . Although none of the DVDs are professional they are very good and show Slim very natural and always at ease on each performance. There is no other singer in the world that can measure up to Slims Singing and no one can ever replace him, I will always idolise him Marian in the UK.

Slim Whitman is a really good artist and has some excellent cd's if you like his type of singing. Shame he has retired and isn't making new cds.
