    Bad Points: After owning this camera for four years, a screw has loosened up and fell out just above where the battery attaches. This resulted in the entire cassette carriage loosening and the inabililty to play back tapes. The flat rate cost of the repair is $269 and I am sending it in today (12/4/01).


    General comments: A firewire is no help to getting video on a computer and no salespersons I've talked to has been able to help.

    The camcorder is light and easy to use and feels like quality materials have been used.
    The video quality is much better than my previous 8mm Sony Handycam.
    I would definitely recommend it.
